Incontra Eleonora

THE KITCHEN FOR BODY, MIND & SOUL
In everyone's life, and especially as a Yogi, nourishing oneself with pure and nutritious foods would be ideal. The practice of yoga aims at mental peace, here bad digestion interferes and affects the mind as well.
One of the most important texts in Hinduism, the Bhagavad-gita, reads thus:
"[...] the healthier and purer the diet, the more inner clarity there is. [...] Yoga, which puts an end to suffering, is for him who is measured in food [...]."
One of the directions we find in Patanjali's Yoga Sutra: nonviolence (ahimsa); do no harm is the first of the ten "rules" (yama + niyama) to consider and try to apply.
A healthy food therefore must carry vital energy, which is why a yogi does not eat "dead" foods. A yogi, striving to achieve peace, follows the path of "nonviolence."
Sattvic foods promote a clear and bright mind, flowing energy and harmony, such as: grains, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, seaweed, legumes, light spices, seeds, salt, herbal teas.
By reading & experimenting, I created my own harmony, combining some of the concepts of 'ayurveda nutrition with holistic nutrition. Gaining benefits, including: concentration, glowing skin, energy, lightness, slimming, happiness & freedom.
I hope these concepts are positive source in your life!!!
